Dangers of Passive Smokers

The risk of smoking is not only experienced by a person who smoked / smokers active, but also experienced by the non-smoking / passive smoking (secondhand smoke). Passive smoking means inhale cigarette smoke from people other. Passive smoking cause disease not only affects adults but also among teenagers and children:



For Adults
- Irritation of the eyes, nose, and throat.
- Headache, dizziness, and nausea.
- asthma and allergic disorders.
- Increase the risk of coronary heart disease.
- The percentage of passive smokers 10% - 30% for lung cancer affected.



For Teens and Children
- Increase of acute respiratory illness in early childhood (including infeski breathing).
- Causes of chronic cough, cough slimy.
- Infection of the ear (ear mucus).
- Reduced lung function growth ..
- Increase the likelihood of developing asthma.
- Slowing the growth of children.

For Athletes

  •  Cigarettes constrict blood vessels and cause heart strain.
  •  Cigarette damage the lungs and reduces oxygen supplies needed during exercise.
  •  It causes respiratory problems (Shortness of Breath) 3 times more often than nonsmokers.
  •  Smokers run slower and could not run long distances. This is impacting on the overall achievements of these athletes.
